Explore the Work offers a deeper opportunity to engage with creative and embodied practices as ways of meeting curiosity, uncertainty, change and the challenges of everyday life.
Through movement, imagery, creative prompts and reflective conversation, we create space to slow down and stay with what is present. Rather than rushing toward an answer, we can become curious about what emerges when we allow ourselves to explore from different perspectives.
Creative practice can give us something tangible to work with — an image, a movement, a mark, a word or an idea — creating opportunities for surprise and discovery.
This pathway invites you to…
- Slow down and create space for curiosity
- Meet a challenge or creative block from a different perspective
- Explore possibilities through imagery, movement and creative practice
- Discover personal resources through embodied and imaginative exploration
- Experiment with staying present to uncertainty rather than immediately resolving it
- Explore flexibility, spontaneity and new ways of responding
- Consider how creativity can support engagement with the complexity of everyday life
- Discover meaning and possibility even when circumstances feel unsettled
The emphasis is not on finding a single answer or producing a particular outcome. It is on developing a greater capacity for curiosity, experimentation and engagement with your own experience.
No previous experience with expressive arts or movement is required.
A Different Context from Therapy
Explore the Work is offered outside the formal therapeutic relationship.
While some of the creative and embodied practices may overlap with approaches used within psychotherapy, this offering is educational and experiential rather than clinical or therapeutic.
The emphasis is on creative inquiry, embodied learning, experimentation and discovery.
Creative & Embodied Learning offerings are educational and experiential in nature and are not regulated therapeutic services.
