Dance

Dance has been a significant part of my life and professional practice for more than 20 years.

My work as a dancer has shaped how I understand movement—not simply as physical technique, but as a language for expression, presence, relationship and discovery.

“At one supremely beautiful moment, Maggie sits on her knees and uses sign language to convey silent words…”The Globe and Mail

Teaching

My approach to dance teaching is body-centered, compassionate and continually evolving.

I honour the complexity of being both human and a dancer, creating learning environments that support technical development alongside curiosity, awareness and individual expression.

My teaching is informed by my own professional experience as a dancer, my training in dance and movement and my ongoing exploration of embodied learning.
